Description
Pole clips come with any “complete frame” purchase. However, for those making their own poles, we highly recommend using pole clips.
- Each pack comes with 30 clips – enough for all of your horizontal (common) poles.
- To prepare your poles for pole clips…
- Drill a 1/4″ hole in each end of the common (horizontal) poles 1 3/4″ from the end of the pole.
- If you wish to install clips on your truss poles (those that run along the roof from center ridge pole down to the top of the wall), simply drill holes 1 1/4″ from the ends of the pole.
If you want to install clips on all of your poles, buy two sets of 30. Do not install clips on leg poles.

These work without any major issues. They are a bit flimsy and finicky as they age. I wish the springs were just a bit more sturdy.
