Description
We do not offer a sewn-in floor because it is quite challenging to set up a frame while you are inside the tent! Furthermore, the material we use for our canvas tents is expensive! It just doesn’t make sense to be walking on it.
However, we do offer a tie-in floor made from a heavy duty poly material.

Well worth the investment to have the floor and avoid extra work to stop water and bugs getting into the tent. It is easier with the old frame set up with poles along the floor perimeter but still worth it. I add carpets over too of the floor for longer camping trips for comfort and warmth.

The floor is very durable and covers the area it needs to cover. We use our tent many times a year, and for weeks at a time. Never had a problem with the floor, and it is still in great condition. A quicker way to attach the floor to the tent frame, while maintaining its durability and integrity, would be a nice improvement.

Fits a little short both directions…could be a bit longer…also wish material was a little thicker to hold up to multiple uses but as far as value it’s definitely worth the purchase…keeps the tent dry and clean and makes for easy cleanup and pack out.

works great but you will learn to fold it back and use only 2/3 of it so you can step in to take off your boots or stack firewood and not have to sweep every day. I like the way it ties to the frame, overlapping the sod cloth, no drafts.

The floor mat was as advertised and did keep moisture from rising up into the tent. The material became very stiff after a short time and was completely inflexible in cold weather.

First year I used this without a fiberglass mat to protect it from the stove embers. Burnt a hole in it. I thought it would have torn more from use, but it has stayed the same every season thereafter. It’s made out of good material and I would buy again. Make sure you put some sort of fire blanket down to protect it from your stove and embers when you open the door.
