The Yukon Bell Tent
Bell tents provide amble space (13ft = 133 sq ft, 16ft = 201 sq ft, 20ft = 304 sqft) comparable to a wall tent but are much easier to set up and move around. Additional Information
Groundsheet: PVC 540g, zips into tent and curves up the wall 3.5″ to keep water out. The tent instructions show pockets for the door poles sewn onto the floor, but we currently are not making those pockets. The door poles are held in place by gravity and rope system. There are some ties inside to help keep the poles in place. Do not use the ties closest to the floor. Allow the pole to angle away. The feet of the door poles should be about a foot away from the way to give the proper angle. Poles: Galvanized steel central pole breaks down into three segments to make it easier to manage. Center pole has a rubber gasket at the bottom and top to protect the floor and canvas. Always make sure you use the gaskets to protect the floor and canvas. Includes an A-Frame pole system for doorway. The longest pole measures 40 inches. The center pole on the 20-foot tents can bow due to each joint connection allowing a little movement. You can replace this pole with a 1 1/4″ rigid pipe (found in the plumbing section) or lumber. Having a thicker wall pipe or lumber for the center pole is also helpful for handling snow loads. Stakes: includes stakes for around the bottom of the tent and ropes. If you expect high winds or rocky ground we suggesting getting some of our larger stakes. Guy ropes: comes will all the guide ropes. One will be longer for the top of the door. Bag: All contents come in a zippered bag with handle. The bag is larger enough to hold tent and poles. Weight: with frames and stakes 13 – 80 lbs, 16 -95 lbs, 20 – 115lbs. Photos: The product photos are of the 16ft model.

I have the 13’ Yukon tent and love it. It is perfect for elk camp. It stood up to 60mph winds with no problems. The stove will cook you out if your not careful. Would highly recommend any of Justin’s tents.

I bought this tent in January of 2022 for 2 to 4 day trips. I also own one of the 13×20 wall tents. I love the wall tent but it is a chore to put up and take down. This tent took me about an hour the to set up the first time and about 40 minutes to take down. I took it camping in February and that time set up took about 30 minutes and 30 or less to take down. I stayed in it in 20 degree weather and it worked great. There was plenty of room for three grown men and our stuff. I would recommend this tent to others looking for a well made multi season tent that is easy to set up and take down. It is a little pricey but I am glad to have it.

got the 16 foot Yukon, and it is perfect for turkey season right now and great for deer hunts this fall and winter. More than enough room for five cots, stove and gear. Very happy with my purchase. The set up is a breeze. The tent is sturdy and I can spend my time enjoying camping in the outdoors and hunting. So glad I found the Elk Mountain web site.

Five Stars all the way! I bought the 16′ Bell Tent to use as a 3 to 4 season tent on my property and couldn’t be happier with this tent. The build quality and materials are fantastic and the bell shape is just what I needed to help shed snow more easily and extend the seasons of use. The ability to put a wood stove in them is fantastic too, makes camp a true home away from home. The shipping carrier badly damaged the box, so much so they blew the end out and taped it all back together. I unpacked everything immediately after delivery and sent photos to customer service and they responded in less than an hour to confirm all the parts were there, which gave me peace of mind. If you’re in the market for an awesome tent don’t hesitate to get this one from Elk Mountain Tents…great product for a great price, hard to beat that!

Five stars for sure! This is a fantastic tent in every way. Construction is amazing for the price, much better than the big outdoor store outfitter tent and as good as, if not better quality than higher priced canvas outfitter tents from a large sky state. One note, if you’re going to build a platform to put the tent on, be sure to open and measure it first, it’s a bit wider than 16′ in actual measurements…so a 17′ square (or a 17′ circle if you’re a perfectionist) will be plenty. Setup the first time (and only time so far) took my wife and I about an hour…it can be done faster for sure, but we took our time. We also secured the bottom to the platform using the same loop points the ground spikes would have used. 16′ is plenty big for a queen sized inflatable bed, a wood stove, a couple camp chairs and still space for clothing bins and moving around. We’ve not had to use the wood stove (optional) yet but no doubt we’ll be warm this fall and winter when it is needed. This will for sure be a comfortable home away from home!

We bought this tent to take to Colorado elk hunting last year. We bought the 20ft Yukon bell tent version. Setup on the tent is super easy. I can set this tent up by myself in less than 30 minutes. The tent has a amazing floor in it that is very durable and thick. The only complaint I have about this tent is when I set it up for the first time to get it ready to go to elk hunting (put a stove jack through the tent) the piece of fire resistant material the stove pipe goes through was only sewn in on two sides. I sewed it back in and we went to hunting. Tent was great. We stayed in it for 15 days and temps were below freezing every night. Will burn you out if you keep the fire stoked. Got home and took it to deer camp and noticed that the seams in the top of the tent where the pole is in the peak are starting to come apart. Have not set it back up at home to check these out but you can for sure seen daylight through them when it was up at camp. Besides these sewing problems the tent has been great.
